Lehman Volvo Safety Days in Mechanicsburg



Safety made fun for the family…MAY 15TH AND 16TH
Lehman Volvo is teaming up with S.I.P Kids on May 15th and 16th to provide free Digital Fingerprinting for children. During this event there will be safety demonstrations and refreshments. It will be a great way to have fun and stay safe!

Our events are hosted across the country not only providing digital fingerprints for the children but also providing empowering safety information to families. With this information our hope is that no parent will ever need to use the records we provide them, rather their children will be as prepared as possible if they are ever in a dangerous situation.
The Lehman Volvo Safety Days will feature:

Free Digital Fingerprinting, for you to keep on file for your children (both days)

Karate demonstrations from Villari’s Self Defense Center (both days)

Cumberland County Sheriff with K-9 Voelz (Friday only)

Silver Spring Fire department Smoke House, Fire truck, stickers and safety information (Saturday only)

Hampden Police department with badges and stickers for children (both days)

Lehman Volvo’s CitySafety Demonstration with the all-new Volvo XC60 (both days)

Big Brothers Big Sisters-information and games (Friday only)

Refreshments, prizes, and more!

Here is your Volvo Safety...

What you see above is the result of an accident between a tractor trailer, a Volvo XC60...and another tractor trailer. If you think the end result is devastating, just be aware...the driver and passenger of the Volvo XC60 walked away from this accident with only minor injuries. This accident happened in Brussels a couple of days ago, here is some of the report from their newspaper: A car containing a mother and daughter crashed into the back of a truck. The vehicle disappeared completely under the rear end of the heavy truck. To make matters worse, a heavy truck crashed into the Volvo XC60 from behind. The result was a lot of scrap. The emergency services had to rescue the two women from the car, who were trapped for more than one hour. The fire brigade had to cut off the roof of the vehicle before being able to set them free.
